Last summer my husband and I decided to list our property and purchase another home, large enough to accommodate our family including two young children, as well as his parents, three dogs and a cat. We offered to help my husband's parents as one of them suffers from Alzheimer's Disease. We presented this idea to Wesley Olson and his partner Jody Gianni and without hesitation, they were on the phone making appointments for us to look at any properties within our price range and in the Discovery Bay area. Over the 4th of July weekend in 2020, we viewed 10 properties in two days, which was not easy during 'Covid-19' times, where most owners only allowed two people in the property at a time with proper face mask covering and sanitation orders in place. We ended up falling in love with the first property we visited. We were told this was doable but not going to be easy, for when our offer was accepted, we had two properties to sell within 14 days. I was 100% confident that I chose the right team to represent our family on 2 of the 5 contingencies that needed to fall perfectly in line for this home to become ours. They worked their tails off to make everything come together. Jody was in contact with me every step of the way. They were extremely professional and talked to us about every detail, including minor 'bumps in the road' as she put them. I am positive having 5 contingencies was no easy task, but they did it with ease and grace. When everything came together and the ink was barely dried on all the contracts, deeds, etc. and all the papers were finally filed, Jody called me on the phone in tears and said congratulations, we did it!!!! I thanked her and said, no you guys did it! She was more emotional than I was because I had the upmost confidence in their expertise that they would make this deal happen. I could not have asked for a better agent to represent me in the sale of my house and the purchase on our new multi-generational home.
